Needy people of the world

Purpose

It is the vision and goal of Faith Evangelical Free to be a church where missions is a priority both in our local community and globally. We desire to live out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) to “go and make disciples of all nations” by seeking opportunities to share the Gospel within our community and by working globally with mission agencies. Through prayer, giving, serving, and encouraging, we desire that more people will come to know our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.

What We Do

Hands & Feet Ministry: Provides opportunities to share the Gospel and serve in the Monroe County area. In living Christ’s example to “love our neighbor as ourselves” (Matthew 22:37-39), we are able to give others a glimpse of the love that is freely given to us through our salvation. We invite you to join us! For all ages and talents, there are opportunities to serve: nursing home, soup supper, physical help, prayer and more! For more information, please contact the ministry office.

All Church Monthly Prayer Meeting: Every 2nd Tuesday of the month a prayer meeting is held in the church fellowship hall from 6:00-7:00p.m.

Global Missions: We are blessed to partner with missionary families throughout the world to support church planting, training/discipling of pastors, orphan care, outreach to military, and crisis response. We encourage attenders to learn more about our missionary families at our Missions display. The highlight of the year is our Missions Awareness Month in November, including special activities and speakers on the second Sunday.

Mission Trip: June 21-28 of 2025 we will be going to Guatemala to serve alongside our missionary partners Oscar and Karla. You may sign-up online here, if you are interested, deadline to sign up is June 2nd 2024.
