Purpose
There are many ways for adults to know God in relationship, grow together in relationship, and share Christ’s love with others beyond the Sunday morning worship service. Through participating in these adult ministries, we can better lead people in a fully devoted, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Baptism
Opportunity for Public Baptism!
In Scripture, public baptism in Jesus Christ is an outward celebration and pledge of an inward reality– surrendered faith in Jesus as both Savior and Lord. If you have never experienced baptism, or if it was at an age or circumstance where you want to invest now with better understanding, please plan on the following…
- Pick up our tri-fold brochure at our church welcome wall on baptisms and child dedications. This will begin to inform you about our Scriptural approach to baptism for you and/or your child.
- Sign up on-line OR at our Welcome Wall at church for one of our required baptism workshops (45 minute workshops after our 2nd worship service) in our fellowship hall on Sunday, August 30 at 12:15PM or Sunday, September 13 at 12:15PM. Those who sign up will receive a document to read in preparation. These interactive workshops will afford a space to ask questions, and to learn all of the important things surrounding this significant step of faith.
- Mark your calendar for two baptism worship services– Saturday, September 19 at 3PM, as part of our annual Faith Family Picnic celebration, and Sunday, September 27 immediately following our 2nd worship hour that day.
If you are interested in baptism for yourself or your child, please contact Pastor Brian immediately for more information.

Faith Family Fall Picnic
Save the date for September 19.
There will be an opportunity for baptism, food, fellowship and games.

Home Bible Studies
Similar to the early church, small groups of ten to twelve people meet in homes to be nourished with God’s Word and to encourage each other through prayer and support. Growing together spiritually is often done most powerfully in the context of the home. These groups of friends meet regularly, often over a meal, for prayer, encouragement, friendship and to learn more about God’s Word in Scripture. You are encouraged to join a Home Bible Study to better know God in relationship and to grow together in relationship. For details, please contact the ministry office at 608-269-5469.
